Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I get it onto my handheld?
A. Easy! Click the 'Buy Now' button above to download the .pdb file. Copy this file onto an SD card, put it into your handheld and open it using any .PDB (Plucker) compatible eReader...done!
Q. Is the information in the eBook up to date?
A. The eBook is updated regularly so the information you purchase should never be out of date
Q. Does it handle foreign characters?
A. At this time foreign characters (like japanese kanji) will appear garbled in the ebook. A future release may resolve this.
Q. Is it missing any pages?
A. There are limited missing pages that have been saved with a slash '/' in the filename (eg. http://wikitravel.org/en/Melbourne/Dandenong_Ranges). These are not included as they were not saved in the root wikipedia level (ie. http://wikitravel.org/en/Melbourne_Dandenong_Ranges)
Q. Does it contain images?
A. No. Images are not included in these eBooks in order to save disk space.
Q. Why are you charging for these eBooks?
A. Surprisingly, quite a lot of time and work went into compiling these eBooks. Also, it costs money to host the downloads. If you compare $7.99 to the cost of buying all the Guidebooks for a continent and then consider the weight saving, you will probably find yourself streets ahead!
